Here at Unique Gym, we teach the exciting Dutch style kickboxing, which is a mix of techniques from Kyokushin karate, Western boxing, and Muay Thai. It differs from the Western style as you can attack your opponent with kicks to the legs, head and body. Dutch kickboxing also incorporates boxing techniques with punching combinations creating explosive finishes.
For beginners, there is no contact involved in sessions, making our gym a safe place to practice techniques under our qualified trainers. Once you have a solid foundation to build on, you can then progress to light sparring.
For advanced kickboxers, we challenge you in different ways and have plenty of experience when it comes to training fighters for competitions. Matt Simms’ CV speaks for itself.

Our classes are priced at £10 per session, which is much cheaper than the expensive rates you will find in London.
Monthly memberships cost £50 for adults and this provides unlimited access to any available class, including kickboxing. Couples and families can also enjoy great discounts.
Please bring boxing gloves, shin guards, a water bottle and towel, which helps maintain our hygiene standards. But if you’re new to kickboxing or forgot something, you can buy a water bottle or rent equipment from us.
We recommend wearing loose clothing like shorts or tracksuit trousers and a t-shirt. You should not wear trainers during the session.
